ASP.NET Web Control

ASP.NET Web Control ตั้งแต่เวอร์ชั่น .NET Framework 1 เป็นต้นมาได้มีการพัฒนาตัว Web Control ขึ้นมาจาก Element ของภาษา HTML ความหมายก็ชื่อก็บอกอยู่แล้วครับว่า Web Control (ควบคุมด้วย Web Server) ในความหมายก็คือ Control เหล่านี้สามารถควบคุมการทำงานทุก ๆ อย่างจาก Web Server ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการ กำหนดค่า อ่านค่า หรือคุณสมบัติอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ Control เหล่านั้น

Syntax

<asp:Control id="[Name]" runat="Server"></asp:Control>

Control เหล่านี้จะถูก Web Server ทำการ Generate Property ต่าง ๆ ให้กับตัว Control และสิ่งที่เรามองเห็นผ่าน Web Browser คือ HTML Tag ที่ถูกแปลงออกมาเรียบร้อยแล้ว

เหตุผลที่ได้สร้าง Web Control ขึ้นมาก็เพราะต้องการใช้ผู้พัฒนาโปรแกรม สามารถเลือกใช้ Control ได้อย่างสะดวกและง่ายต่อการพัฒนาโปรแกรม และในปัจจุบันได้มี Control เกิดขึ้นอีกมากมาย ทั้ง Control ที่ทาง Microsoft เอง หรือ Control ที่นักโปรแกรมเมอร์ทั้งหลายได้พัฒนาขึ้นนำมาแจก หรือขายกันอย่างหลากหลาย
